Following is a message from Alachua County Republican State Committeewoman Raemi Eagle-Glenn who is running for Florida State House District 22 to replace the honorable Chuck Clemons who is term-limited:
Good afternoon,
Entering into this campaign for State House has been one of the most challenging situations of my life – harder than law school. I never knew that people on my own side would turn out to be against me after all. I know the majority of Republicans believe in me & my ability to lead as a legislator. During the first 2 financial reporting periods spanning only 7 weeks I raised $53,444.70. This was not “dark money” or “PAC money”. Individuals, businesses, politicians and Tallahassee influencers all chose to fuel my campaign with 113 separate donations of $1000 or less. Donations ranged from $20 to the max $1000. This fundraising push sent a message to the naysayers, gatekeepers, and power establishment: that Raemi Eagle-Glenn is a serious contender for the Seat and the People are with her.
Your donation of any amount $1000 or less is more meaningful than you may realize. I am humbly asking for your financial support today. Our 3rd financial reporting period ends this week and we must bolster our message: “Raemi Eagle-Glenn for Florida State House District 22!”
If you choose to support my campaign with a donation please use this secure link:

I will also be at the April 27th ACREC meeting if you would like to bring a check.
Learning to ask for money was the hardest part, but it is completely necessary. If you can’t financially contribute at this time will you please share this message with someone else who might.
Kind regards,
Paid by Raemi Eagle-Glenn, Republican for Florida House District 22.
Have you had texts on your phone from people claiming the state reps are trying to “take over GRU”? They say “it could be sold to a private monopoly like FPL & we’d be stuck with higher bills, up to 200% higher.” Hmmmm….knowing the bad job they’ve done, I wonder if they’re trying to do something devious again here.
